Professional Bio:
Josh Kuhn founded Albatross Insurance Agency to bring a higher standard of service, speed, and carrier access to business owners across Arizona and beyond. Raised in Pocatello, Idaho as one of six children in a small-business family, Josh deeply understands the grit, sacrifice, and risk it takes to build something worth protecting. That small-town upbringing drives his belief that every client deserves a real human who picks up the phone—not an automated queue.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in the commercial insurance market, Josh holds both the CRIS (Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist) and CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) designations, specializing in trade contractors, commercial fleets, general liability, and hard-to-place risks. He graduated from Arizona Christian University with a degree in finance and a minor in biblical studies. Under his leadership, Albatross Insurance Agency was nationally recognized as a Top Independent Insurance Agency 2025 by Insurance Business Review.
An active BNI Arizona Hall of Fame member, Josh isn't just an insurance agent—he serves as a well-connected risk partner who gives clients direct access to a trusted network of local vendors, CPAs, and commercial attorneys across Arizona and beyond.
Beyond the Office:
A competitive golfer at the NAIA college level, Josh's passion for the game is where the agency's name originates (an albatross being the rarest shot in golf, three strokes under par). Off the clock, he is a devoted family man who taught himself country dancing to win over his college sweetheart, Kristi, to whom he's been married for 10 years. Today, you can find him passing his love of the game down to their kids, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active in the local community.

Montana born and raised, Terri brings a wealth of agency ownership experience and deep underwriting grit to the Albatross team. She launched her own captive insurance agency in Montana in 2016, eventually merging it with another agency before making the move to Arizona and joining Albatross Insurance Agency.
Terri thrives on a challenge, specializing in hard-to-write and high-hazard commercial risks within Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines. From roofing contractors, crime scene cleaners, and sober living facilities to private investigators, restoration companies, and drag racing events—Terri has built a reputation for placing "unwriteable" accounts that standard carriers reject. For Terri, the ultimate payoff isn't just closing a policy; it's picking up the phone, taking the time to learn a client's unique operations, and watching the businesses she protects grow and flourish.

Outside of solving complex risk puzzles for business owners, Terri is a passionate collector vehicle enthusiast. You can usually find her traveling, tending to her plant collection, enjoying live music, or cheering on University of Montana Grizzlies football. Above all, she loves spending quality time with her daughter and family.

Scott specializes in working with hands-on trade professionals—including HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general contractors—as well as local Main Street business owners. When guiding new business owners or young contracting crews through their first policy setup, Scott skips the dense industry jargon and policy codes. When he isn't advocating for his commercial clients, he is an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. You can usually find him out on the golf course or tuned into football and NBA basketball. In his downtime, he loves hitting mountain trails, exploring new destinations, and traveling with his wife and their two dogs.
